Ok, i just about finished up defretting my Michael Kelly acoustic. Its not a dragonfly, it only has dot inlays so dont rag on my for ruining the inlay.
What the real question is is... what strings to use on fretless acoustics? Its a 5 string, and just give me some suggestions of what brands/ kinds of strings to use. Also if anyone knows what strings come stock on MK fretless's let me know

Rotosound RS 885LD Piano String Design might work for you. :)
Don`t know where the rest of the aggresiveness comes from, though.
Good Luck!

Sure! Just try to stick to roundwound-strings, as they will do less damage to your fretboard. You can also check out nickel-strings for an extra smooth sound.

I`ve seen different strings on fretless. Some use roundwounds on maple `cause it`s a harder wood, but on rosewood flatwounds will be better.
Btw, Rotosound Tru-Bass Nylon Tapewounds (tapewounds have been mentioned alot with acoustic basses) have been recommended alot, but I`ve never tested them myself.

There are a great many people, me included, who will tell you that TI Jazz Flats are the best strings available for fretless.
Another to consider, but they do have pretty high tension are
