AIRIC

The greatest punk rock song ever is

the Germs - "Forming"

Brain Toad

Dumb idea.
I guess my favorite would be JFA - "Skateboard/We Know You Suck"

Blink 182 are sellouts.

You can't just pick one song, it's way too hard.

Shut up, you don't know anything about punk rock.

all bands are sell outs, once they ign a record deal, they sold their name, and there for are sell outs

"Straight Edge" isn't close to Minor Threat's best. Who ever made that poll needs to actually listen to those bands beyond the obvious.

Blink 182 aren't sell outs, Blink 182 just did what had to be done to progress punk rock. Without Blink's punk rock revolution, we wouldn't have Relient K or Hawthorne Heights.

AIRIC
05-11-2006, 10:07 PM
Voted Black Flag.

I can't believe you would pick that Circle Jerks song over others.

Blink 182 - Damnit
Yes!

You win the thread.

Nick was runner up. If he'd closed it after posting he would have won though.

I did you obviously don't appreciate good punk rock classics.

Flagjacket

I'm kinda pissed that Blink 182 isn't a choice on this poll.

Flagjacket

No, you just picked all the staple punk songs and made pretty much the most predicatable poll ever.

EightMilesHigh

uh yeah

Also, how could you not include some Casualties on this poll?

The Casualties are poseurs, they need to get with it and realize it isn't the 70's anymore and punk rock isn't about leather and mohawks.

You're just jealous because you wish you could be PUNKRAWKANARKEE like The Casualties.

(I'm kidding, I hate The Casualties and Anti-Flag).

Flagjacket
05-11-2006, 10:17 PM
I'm not kidding at all, The Casualties need to drop the "oi oi oi" bull**** and start playing more radio friendly music. Punk rock's age of popularity is in, and everyone should be trying to cash in.

Yeah like Forming or Lexicon Devil because that is straight up punch in the face punk rock.

I choose Blink 'cause their drummers 'hawk is hawt. I would have choosen the Germs but a homosexual singer overdosing on heroin is so cliché. I <3 punx, theys so k3wl

actually they all sell out, they have t shirts, and a clothing line, and once you put out a CD you have sold out, hence Cobain being depressed

This poll is vastly underdone. It needs London Calling, Holiday In Cambodia, and something Ramones. Blink 182.... Ha!

Ardolino
05-12-2006, 07:33 AM
Would, as Blink 182 may be punk rock, are they the same kind of music like the Sex Pistols, which were original punk? I think its strange to have both those bands on the same genre.

RetiredAt21

None of those songs are even good.

Sex Pistols- win hands down

Mephastophilis
05-12-2006, 11:56 AM
Hmm
Sex Pistols - Anarchy... is an awsome song but im a bit sick of hearing it now, its been used endlessly for anything and everything.

So I've gone for Anti-Flag as its a very good punk song that i cud listen to over and over. (even better live :thumb:)

Uh, if makign shirts is elling out then every band ever has sold out and that's not true.

Alright, joke's over guys. Seriously, some of the dumbest people ever have made their virgin posts in this thread. Everyone who has less than 30 posts and has posted in this thread should get a ban.

MightyMorphinPowerPepino
05-12-2006, 04:49 PM
I haven't heard any of those bands except Blink 182, I was going to vote for them, but Anti-Flag sounds more punk so I voted Anti-Flag

Brain Toad

OK. This thread is bringing in too many morons. Let's this clarify something

THE POLL WAS A JOKE. THE THREADSTARTER MADE A ****TY THREAD AND I MADE IT CRAPPIER BECAUSE I AM A COMIC GENIUS. 2000 PEOPLE DID NOT VOTE AND NONE OF THESE SONGS ARE THE GREATEST PUNK SONGS EVER (except sex pistols - anarchy in the uk, that is the best punk song ever)
