They had that hit single "Lump" sometime in the mid 90's and that's about as far as their pop career went. I believe they released a few more albums after their debut but didn't succeed much more mainstream success. Anyway, I got their self-titled debut for $1.00 at a pawn shop and it's pretty well rounded musically.

"Boll Weevill" and their cover of the MC5's "Kick Out The Jams" are both good songs.

So, who likes 'em?

I loved their debut CD until it got pinched from me in 1998 and I haven't bothered getting it again. Fave tracks: Peaches (just such a random song), Body (I really liked the melody on this track for some reason) and Kitty.

I heard some of their later stuff and it just didn't have the catchiness of their debut (except maybe their cover of Video Killed The Radio Star).

I was right into these guys when their debut came out and "Peaches" was released as a single. I have fond memories of my brothers and I singing along to their self-titled album on long car trips. Ah, the times, they were good.

They're a good, fun band. Nothing special, though.

One of the few smart things you've ever said.
