Alright, after sitting in front of the mirror for 7 hours watching my hand, I finally have a grasp on double thumping, mostly I've been using it for quick triplets, but my problem is I can only the E/G string at the same time, A/G and D/G, I'm struggling at getting my hand to do triplets on one string. Any suggestions on hand positioning to get this down?

practice. same thing happened to me, just go with what feels easiest, and keep playing: scales, donna lee, anything

same position as doing it across two or three strings. just pull your finger in closer

kinda sloppy on your DT/DP, it doesnt sound like 4 notes, sounds more like 1 note with a bit of a triplet feel to it

Just gotta keep on working it and bring everything in tighter. Control is the key to solid DTing. Quick short powerful movements.

I know, its horrible isnt it! Ive been trying to sort it out from sounding like a mashy mess, but i cant seem to do it (but then again, its not like I really find much use for DB/DPing anyway!)

Ball up your fist and have your thumb parallel to the string. In doing this, when your thumb goes down your index/middle fingers are already in the positon to clutch under the string and pop. Practice this veerry slowly to get a distinct divided sound between each note. Many people attempt thi sand kind of stumble over the notes. Practice very slowly getting a defined sound, time will take its course and you will improve in no time!

Make sure your fingers are in line with your thumb, so as your thumb enters your fingers are in perfect position.
