I am moving to a new place in about a week and they don't allow musical instruments that will bother the neighbors. So this means that I have to take my Ampeg B2-RE head and Bxt-410 cab home to my parents house, because there is no headphone jack on it. I will then have to bring my old Hartke Kickback 15 up to use because it has a headphone jack. Problem is the headphones I have for it don't handle the low frequency very well. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a set of headphones that can handle low frequencies well and hopefully not cost more than $100. Thanks in advance for any help.

seinheiser HD 560s, grado SR 60s those might be out of your price range though....i used to have plantronics audio 90s (for gaming) and they worked awesome for bass...the mic on them even sounded pretty decent for recording which was pretty funny.

any decently expensive set of headphones will do. doesn't seem like you'd need studio-quality headphone monitors for just playing in your apartment
Why can't you play at low volume? Even if they do hear it, it shouldn't bother them.

Well Im sure I could play at low volume with no problems. Thing is, with the Ampeg Rig, low volume is pretty much non-existent. Plus I tend to get carried away. Thanks for the input so far, any recommendations on where to get these?

Then just turn up your low volume to medium volume, which should be slightly above non-existent. :)

If your price limit was like $20 I would suggest Plantronic Audio 90s they have great sound for the price but arnt too comfy and break easily.
I love my sennheiser 497s they sound good plugged into my amp for playing bass.
