I need something that can last at a decently loud(two guitarists:eek: ) practice, and a few smaller gigs(outside in a open area, so you can hear bass about 500 feet away(weekly "battle" of the bands/music shows).

I also might get This: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Bass/Amps?sku=601056

and this: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Bass/Amps?sku=482534

If I can save up enough money.

the first is way too small, and the second head is decent. that is, considering you want to be heard from 500ft away in open air

i personally like GKs, but if your not micing, or plugging into a PA, that most definatly wont be loud enough, unless you use some kind of effect, and youll probably end up clipping, thats always bad

and whats the impedence on the 210? i didnt see it on the site.. cuase if its more than 4ohms ( odds are it is ) you wont get 300 watts

whats your budget?

if your willing to spend a little more you could get a pretty good head/cab that will last you a while.

i got my SWR workingman 4004 with the matching 410 cab for $600 new, just look around a bit.. :)

I got a GK, 1001 rb and 4x10 rbh cab, its mad, get a good head and cab second hand off ebay, don't buy new, waste of money
