I dont know if this thread belongs in this sections but here it goes.
I recently started playing guitar like three months ago and recently I'm getting recently into flamenco. If anyone on mf listens to it can you recommend me some famous artists that i can check out on youtube or dl. Also how do you play it? I want to learn how to play it. I think you need classical guitar but i know theres like flamenco guitars. And can someone explain what is true flamenco. I like the sound of people playing flamenco when they like strum with their fingers and do all these crazy stuff with their fingers while tapping the guitar. I am really interested in it and can someone tell me how to learn it or should i get a teacher for it? I just love the emotion and power when i listen to it. If you can help thank you.
edit. wait does this belong in the guitar forum?
Can some mod move this to guitar forum?

I recommend listening to some Paco de Lucia or Vicente Amigo.

You need a spanish guitar and you definetly need a teacher. No software and no internet lesson will help you. Also you will need much more expirience to play flamenco but it's all good as long as you have ambition. Try to use your fingers a lot, while playing.
