i just got tickets for the Flaming Lips yesterday!

they're playing at SDSU on the 24th with UV Tigers, We Are Scientists and a few others.

anyone seen them live? because i've seen video clips and photos, but that's all. needless to say, i'm prepared for the best show i will ever see.

I'd say that will be be fairly accurate. They are definitely one of the best bands I've ever seen live. I'd love to see them in a show of their own though, that would be a buttload better than at a festival.

^they're playing at ACL. i might go but i'd rather see them in a show of their own. ACL is always so cramped and hot, but if they don't schedule anymore texas dates i'll end up going.
