I've listened to about 40 albums that have been released since the start of this year, and (being totally honest) CYHSY would be dead last if I were doing a ranking right now. Dead last by a big, big margin.

Part of the reason why so many people hate it is because Pitchfork liked it, and everything Pitchfork likes = bad.

They've got a couple nice songs. Generally, I think people genuinely can't get over the voice more than they actually care about the whole Pitchfork good press.

Not here in New Zealand - released March 20 here. Also, I don't know what Pitchfork is.

What I DO know is that this album was dismal. I couldn't hear a single redeeming quality - out of all the tracks on the disc there was 1 song that I kinda liked a little, but that was it. It was by far the worst CD I've heard all year.
