What are some songs that make you feel sad, happy, excited, depressed, etc?

A lot of Tool songs make me feel a bit depressed, almost like wanting to spill my emotions out at the time I'm listening.

These songs in particular:

-"Rosetta Stoned" by Tool, 8:33-end in particular. The melody just makes me feel like spilling out whatever has been bothering me.

-"Schism" by Tool, 4:35- 6:03 especially. Maynard's voice sounds almost depressed, as if he were looking back on a disaster and saying, "I told you so."

I'll say one band for each emotion it comes to my mind at the moment.

Sad: Burzum
Melancholic: Agalloch
Happy: Mago De Oz
Depressed: Porcupine Tree
Romantic: Incubus
Suicidal: EMOO! (For real) I've never felt suicidal, at least I can't remember it.

Agalloch and My Dying Bride always put me in a rather depressed mood; some greats from the two of them are As Embers Dress the Sky and Symphonaire Infernus Septus et Empyrium

The Devin Townsend Band simply inspires me, and wakes me up if I ever get tired of something. I can name no single DTB song that I enjoy the most, though. They're all amazing.

Benighted gets me pumped up and makes me want to run around the block, especially songs like Nemesis, Blind To the World, and Iscarioth.

Dark Tranquillity always gets me focused, and extremely intense. Mikael Stanne's vocals are just so powerful, and go along perfectly with the melodic guitar and key work. Some favorites are Punish My Heaven, Zodijackyl Light, and The New Build.

Most black metal affects me. Opeth is another big one.

Bob Dylan. He doesn't really make me feel any particular emotions, but he really makes me think about things.

Anathema's Alternative 4 album, and A Natural Disaster. I've been wanting to review Alternative 4 for a while now, but I can't seem to put my feelings about it into words. :upset:

God by John Lennon invokes many emotions in me. The end part, ("what more can I say..the dream is over..") always makes me kind of sad, but not really depressed, somehow.

Undertow by Pain Of Salvation is one the most depressing songs I've heard. As well as This Time Imperfect by AFI and Forever by Nevermore. A lot of Tool and Opeth songs also evoke my emotions.

Down Where I Am by Demons & Wizards is one of the most depressing songs I've ever heard. I've said it before and it will always be true: Hansi=God
