Guns aren't evil, just like drugs aren't evil, people just tend to do stupid things with them, like kill other people. I acknowledge that most gun-owners have never nor will ever shoot someone, but just the fact that guns are designed and mostly used exclusively for killing is just not a nice thought when I know people enjoy using them recreationally. I have held a revolver, it wasn't anything special. I prefer archery, because it requires more skill, strength and coordination than shooting. But paintballing, that just looks awesome. I love playing shootem-ups war games, like Battlefield, so paint-balling looks like the best thing there is without any actual risk of killing someone.

Archery is a great sport. But shooting also requires a lot of cencentration and skill. I really have no feelings of guilt that they are designed to kill.

Defense, ammo is cheap, they are readily available and they are just too fun to shoot. You can't get the type of enjoyment out of a hunting rifle like you can a "assault" rifle.

I've never seen the video, all I saw were a few frames from one CCTV camera (allegedly the only CCTV camera operating in the Pentagon the whole time, weird) and some independent pictures afterwards. The frames showed an explosion in the wall, with a fireball coming out, which is weird since if the plane crashed into the wall... And there was not much wreckage in the independent photographs, just bits of stone rubble. But I don't trust any evidence when it comes to major terroristic acts, because either way someone has something to gain by lying about it, whether it's the leftist opposition parties or the rightist governments. All I know is that in every artificial (ie. man-made) catastrophe, "Find the person who has most to gain and you find the culprit." I'm pretty sure that some whiteys and some Saudis were behind it, but frankly I don't care enough to speculate. Three thousand dead Americans don't move me anymore than any other three thousand dead humans.
On the subject of conspiracies, did you know that about a month ago, a day before the latest terrorist attack on Israel (in Tel-Aviv), I was in Israel and my mother had gone to Ramalla to visit a friend. She told me that on the way there, they didn't see ONE soldier, whereas usually the ways into Palestine are so covered in troops and checkpoints that you have to stand in queues for hours just to get in. So the day before, not one soldier. And funnily enough, three hours after the explosion, Olmert officially entered the Knesset (Israeli Parliament).

Yaay! I can go out, have cheap cheap sweet sweet coffee, buy the latest model of trainers, play some war video games, drive a diesel car around listening to loud music, watch inane television programs, vote for one of several masters, buy as much as I want, eat as much I can and throw the rest away, and all of this at no expense to anyone else, anywhere, ever. At least if I lived in Palestine, I could be happy about getting flowing tap water more than once a week.

Look the eye whitness reports up on any independant news station or website and they will be there.
Ummm, when a building is slowly coming apart, there will be pops and bangs going off from materials breaking and falling apart. Not to mention the bodies hitting the ground.

The reason why tinfoil-hatted conspiracy theorists are wrong is because they fail to realize that the US government would not have gained anything from slaughtering its own citizens and destroying expensive buildings.
Therefore, as they have no motivation to have commited the acts of 9/11, it's extremely unlikely they were responsible for them.

I never said it was a missle, but it could've been.
Plane debris could've been from a smaller plane, or placed there by the gov't. What about the blue covered thing they were carrying out, what is that?
According to Page 314 of the Official 911 Commission report, it claims it was a Boeing 757. But it doesn't really matter, I don't believe a huge jet made that small of a hole.
Have you seen the video where the roof of the impact hole had not collapsed yet? That is huge evidence that convinces me that a huge 757 did not crash there. It could've been a smaller plane, if not a missle.
The building where on the verge of collapse, when beams and other parts of the structure start to give, it is going to sound like an explosion.
I can't see from the videos how the buildings were on the verge of collapse. They stood fine until suddenly they fell in around 14 seconds. Funny how the towers fell in their own footprints, shouldn't some of the towers fall in an awkward patterns? If the towers were scorching super hot then explain why firefighters were rounding up the towers safely without burning up, especially at the point when the towers were about to "collapse."
No one knows what a ****ing bomb sounds like. A pothole caving in sounds like a bomb.

but the building couldn't have come down from scorching flames if the firefighters were near the impact zone and did not get burned up to pieces. As well as the victims hanging onto the side of the hole.
There are conflicting eyewitness reports.

If the US had wanted to invade Iraq or Afghanistan (or both), it would hardly have been necessary to stage terrorist attacks on its own people. As we speak war is brewing with Iran, a nation who have not even directly threatened the Bush admin. yet.

I don't know about 9/11, but I know that 7/7 couldn't have been JUST a few people and home-made bombs, though I'm not suggesting our or any government was behind it. Eye-witnesses on the train say that the hole on the train (caused by the small explosion) couldn't have come from a bomb in a bag, because the metal of the floor was pushed upwards, as if something exploded underneath the train. One traine driver said he didn't hear any explosion, but that there was a lot of smoke and dust, and another train driver said he heard a series of small explosions, as if the engines underneath each carriage were going off one by one. I'm most puzzled by how one bomb blew off the whole top floor of a bus, and yet all that happened on the Tube was a hole in a floor. How could that have been when the explosives were exactly the same?
Not that I care as much as most people, but I guess I'm not as shocked by it. I'm Israeli and spent my whole childhood with "Another terrorist attack on Israel has killed x people" every few months, so it's not a big deal or all that scary to me. And the fact that Brits died really doesn't move me any more than Iraqis dying, or Afghans.
That was a strangely serious post. I'm going for a poo.

Firefighters don't know what a bomb sounds like?
Nearly all of them don't know what a bomb sounds like. It's not part of the firefighting training protocol to identify explosions by their sound.
Every single account of an explosion from a firefighter was described as nothing more than "an explosion". This could easily be anything from a gas route exploding to rubble caving in. When I hear reports from a bomb squad, then maybe I'll start believing.
Additionally, bombs are not easy to hide chemically. Any gas chromatography devices could have easily picked up trace amounts of explosives (they used them to test the quality of air and stuff). If there was any evidence of an explosive it would have been reported.

Because only the most highly trained geniuses can catch the bus.

Because an amateur's ability to make a controlled explosion when all he wants to do is make a big bang is limited? And the construction of a bus and a tram may vary.

A chip butty is a chip sandwich. What you do is spread a li'l bit of butter, put some ketchup, season your chips with salt and vinegar and line them up on the sandwich. Some people put cheese as well. Then you cover the top with another slice of bread and dig in. It's lovely.

That's the mistake everyone makes. Do you know how hard it is to walk past the Home Office nonchalantly and not stand there cursing them in Arabic?

Palestinian Arabic mixed with Modern Hebrew. It means "Your mum's cunt you dogs!"
/Cursing in Arabic is ubercool.

How do you say dog in Egyptian Arabic? In Hebrew, it's kelev, plural is klavim, I think in Palestinian Arabic it's something close to kalb.
Do you know what dir balak means?

Man I hate all these Arabic dialects.
The only Arabic I know (and that's not very much) is Fus'ha.

Need help with some HW....
Help me compare and contrast Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. I hardly remember the two stories because I have a horrible memory.
Help would be appreciated.:)

Then I'm fresh out of ideas...
I've read/seen both of these, remember the specifics of neither well enough to really help. If you're completely lost I can give you some very vague ideas.

Singular: kalb.
Plural: killaab.
Female dog: sharmutah. Plural: sharameet.
I know what baalak means, but the phrase doesn't read to anything I know. I might know it but I can only read it in Arabic letters.

Yeah, kick it oldskool. That's what all Arabic classes teach in.

Yep! It seems like the dialect of the language, as any educated Arabic-speaking person would understand it.

Yeah, it's how they talk in cartoons also. Pokemon in Arabic is by far the most hilarious thing I've ever seen in my life.
