that would be less laughable if you had an ounce of aviation knowledge. flying a boeing passenger jet 10 feet off the ground at 300 mph into the side of a 3 story building without taking out any of the adjacent light poles is almost 99% impossible. the plane is not that agile.
on top of that they covered the lawn immediately after, nobody "important" in the pentagon happened to be killed in their office, and there are absolutely no jet engines, wings, seats or luggage in any of the pictures i've seen, maybe you can help me out there. oh yeah and the government seized all surveillance from private businesses that would have seen the "plane" immediately after and it is still classified, which the tapes of the planes hitting the WTC are not. this is all indisputable in my eyes.
I figured I would respond even if the thread was closed:

2. Government seizing surveillance:
It's evidence, so it had to be seized. If it still has use in a trial, it will be held until it's no longer needed.
Major lol at all the supposed evidence to the contrary being indisputable in your eyes. Maybe you could use a new pair.

Scotland is called Scotland because the Gaelic Scoti invaded it during the Dark Ages. Whether the 'vast majority' of todays Scots are descended from the Irish invaders, I dunno.
But Irish is a nationality, not an ethnicity.

Smokey D
03-16-2009, 08:20 PM
Assuming that there is an overwhelming majority of people in Ireland who are majority Gael. I'm not sure about the demographics, but lots of Irish people are descended at least in part from Vikings, Scots (I dunno if they were originally Scotti) and English people. The idea that all Irish are ethnically Gaelic is as stupid a national myth as all Irish are Catholic.
I mean, as far as we know Celts came from middle Europe but most males in the British Isles including Ireland have ancestors from Iberia and few if any from Central Europe.
Dave de Sylvia

Well I was using 'Gael' as the opposite of 'Anglo-Irish.' That's assuming 'Gael' includes all assimilated Vikings and Normans. theres a school close by that won't let catholics in. in the south east that is. up to 30 years ago, interbreeding was shunned by the middle and upper protestant classes. i know of families and business' that were destroyed by such prejudices. any of the directories up to the time of the free state that listed catholics as "gentlemen" were used as list to target pre free state sympathisers. my very own house was seized by the free state because a catholic unionist lived there. they all emigrated. so maybe not in recent time since there are not that many practicing catholics left and the proddies seem to have relaxed the rules a little but for a very long time before that there was an exclusive protestant class.

But Irish is a nationality, not an ethnicity. And the Gaels displaced the Picts who were there before them and in turn were displaced (in the south) by the Anglo-Saxons. I find it hard to believe none of these people mixed with each other. Europe is about the worst place (aside from probably Africa) to claim you're a "pure" ethnicity.
More like 400-600 years. And I don't get why that makes me any less a New Zealander.I thought the Polynesian cultures were a lot older than that. I guess they arrived at New Zealand later than most other places.

I don't know what a behrend is (though it sounds German) but environmentalism is cool as long as it's actual environmentalism and not "green" marketing hype. Which it probably isn't. Idk you tell me.

Behrend refers to Penn State Erie, or Penn State Behrend, the campus I'm at.
It's definitely legit environmentalism, it's not some ploy to get people to feel comfortable while buying **** they don't need. I can dig it.
Art history is an interesting class. I only took it because I thought I needed art general education credits, but nobody told me I was already getting one for being in the campus orchestra, so I really didn't need it.
This test straight raped me, the professor puts study guides online before each test and the one for this test was awfully misleading and had little to do with what the test ended up having.

Finance and economics both require pretty good calculus skills.
What exactly is a business major? In NZ if you do a bachelor of commerce you specialise in either Finance, Eco, Accounting, Marketing or some other thing.
Oh, and management.
I don't think you can do 'business' as a major.
I think most business majors here focus on management.

I don't think you can do 'business' as a major. If you do something business-related and/or go to a business school you call yourself that. Economics is often considered separate from "business" in my experience though, probably because it has less to do with actually running a business or some **** like that.
