The army is extremely chauvinist, I nevr said it isn't. In fact I know a few women in Israel who refused to conscript on the basis that the army is sexist.

That's what she said, read the quote carefully. And it's not a mistake in vocab, it represents something much bigger. There is a certain patriarchal male-chauvinist culture in every army that doesn't exist in civilian life, and kids get dumped into it, and when they emerge they're considered adults (by Israeli society). This turns military service into a rite of passage, which I think is very unhealthy.

Anarchy is a nice pipe dream, it really is. Just like Marxism is to a degree. I just don't see it as feasible without a massive revolution in human psychology.

Yes, it does, but as long as we're doing this whole state thing, we might as well do it properly and protect the people who need our protection, instead of criminalising them. You do realise that with current drug policies in the west, pretty much every person is either a criminal or knows someone who is, but isn't telling the police. Laws should be defined by their society, not society defined by its laws. If we're so intent on taking drugs, we should do it out in the open, where it's safe and where we can help each other deal with redundant sh!t.

Of course we can't organise as a united country, a country is nothing more than a statist entity with defined territorial and moral borders, and with a violent military and police force to guard those borders, respectively. In this situation you're bound to exclude a lot of people. If you have a law that says you can't smoke a spliff, you immediately exclude all those people who want to do that. If you make laws against squatting, you exclude poor people, etc etc etc.

Right now humanity stands divided along many lines, like race, financial circumstance, gender, disability, sexuality, nationality, culture, age, industry, etc. All these divisions serve to do is keep those who exploit them in power. Every bid for personal power always, always, relies on the tactic of divide and conquer. If we organise across these false divisions then we'll have a united class, with no rulers and no exploited.

If a community that was apathetic to itself (no community solidarity, is what I mean) comes under attack from land-developers, and its members forced to fight together to defend their existence as a community, then they will start thinking about each other differently and acting differently, setting up projects to help each other out, organising with other communities who hold similar interests, etc. And that's how we organise as a class.

No what I am saying is we can't currently even unite under one class in a single country, let alone some global class revolution. Even members of the same class are divided politically and even socially. The rural middle class faces different realities than the urban middle class and so on and so forth.

The whole idea of anarchism is kind of defeated by the fact that not everyone agrees with it. Unless you just want to kill everyone who isn't anarchist, but that would be kinda silly, wouldn't it?

I know full well what a revolution entails. I am saying your revolution would fail because the human beings as a whole are not enlightened enough.

I would say you have it kind of backwards though. We first must change the way we think and see things, before we can change the way we act and behave, because action (the outer) is merely a projection of thought (the inner).
