I am just now looking at the backs of a United States Quarter Dollar.
They've added states to the backs of these coins.
Example:
On the back of one, it says Wyoming, "The Equality State", with a picture of a cowboy. How does a cowboy depict equality? It makes me think of killin' injuns! Thar's yer equality red!
Also, on the back of another, for Vermont, it has a picture of some dude sucking maple sap out of trees carrying buckets.. and the caption reads "Freedom and Unity".

Hungarian would be my bet but I guess it all depends. I think I found Russian easier because I had taken a lot of Spanish in high school. And Polish is supposed to be harder to English speakers than Russian but so far it's going easier because I'd learned a lot of Slavic roots from Russian and my Old Church Slavonic classes. WWI is not interesting. It was stupid.
Thats why its interesting imo
and to say that WW1 had no effect on the rest of the world is stupid. For one, the treaty of versaille removed all germanies colonial lands so they were affected, it also created the circumstances that allowed hitler to take control of germany in the 30's and start WW2 which Affected almost everyone in the world

Exactly. It was essentially a setup for WWII, marked the decline of imperialism (namely the start of the demise of the British Empire), set up al the bullshit in the Middle East when France and Britain split present day Iran and Iraq, and changed a lot of attitudes towards warfare and the like. WWI was probably more important than WWII actually.

My Western Civ. Professor definitely wasn't dumb, but he wasn't a good professor for that class. It was only a 2000-level class which meant it was still a survey-level course. However, he taught it much more like an upper-division course, which wasn't suited well for a lecture hall of 150 students. In addition, like I said before, he spent about a third of the semester on the unificatio of Italy, about a third on the French Revolution, and about a third on everything else from 1500-today.
