electric pads

hmm.... well i really enjoy playing jungle and techno kind of stuff, so i wanted to add bout 2-3 electric pads to my acoustic kit. with the summer approaching, i will have plenty of time to save up some money and hopefully buy some pads by the time summer ends. i need some recemondations.... i'm not to keen on the electric scene. i really don't know where to start.

are there kits out there that can set up pretty compact, or atleast take the pads off, that i can set up next to my regular acoustic? if so, is that best way to go or should i just buy singular pads?

what i'm thinkin bout doin is setting it up kind of like akira jimbo's or johnny raab. they seem to fit those in pretty well.

im estimating to have atleast 800-900 dollars (usd) by the time summer ends. enough or should i save?

personally id go for yamaha pads the one with a tuning knob its great thier rubber but really awsome

as for a module look into the yamaha dtx extreme 2 its sooo freaking awsome soo much you can do with it

Check out Roland's SPD-20 and SPD-S percussion and sampling pads. I think these are the easiest way of adding pads to a kit. You can see them on line at http://http://www.rolandus.com/products/productlist.aspx?ParentId=61
