Hey i'm a new drummer. I have rhythm and all, but i'm REALLY slow on the bass drum. Any tips so i can play faster?

An instructor would be your best bet. My teacher showed me some bass drum techniques for playing faster, and it has helped A LOT. It's worth the cost.
If you really can't get a teacher for whatever reason, just make sure, whatever you do, take it SLOW at first. speed WILL come in time, if you have the control at slow speeds first. I cannot stress this enough; it was a serious problem I had with my early advancement -- I always tried to do everything faster than I could do it.

Thanks. How much will a teacher cost because i am kind of limited in my budget?

I'm just going to re-emphasize what Loser said -- practice slowly. After slow, accurate practice, speed will develop. Be sure to keep your legs/feet as relaxed as possible (as well as your hands) when you're playing & practicing.

$60 a month is what I used to pay... and then I went to college and I still take from the same guy but it now costs $150 a semester. Slightly cheaper.

Look around your local area for any drum shops and teachers, ask around.

Yeah thats pretty close to what I pay, I pay about $70 a month. I think for most it would be about $60-70.

practice the bass drum using heel-toe and use a metronome to help keep up your pace
