Just absolutely amazing. I've always been addicted to the flaming lips, but this album is almost hard not to listen to. It's amazing.

In my opinion, it's kind of non-memorable.

2.5/5. Mediocre in the extreme. In all likelihood, the biggest disappointment of '06.

Used to love it, but now I see it's more between 2.5-3. Has a couple of memorable tracks, some good ones, a few horrible ones, and overall too much of its focus on weird sound effects and sometimes ripping off the Soft Bulletin.

I don't think theres a bad track on the album, just some mediocre ones in the middle. But when it's good it's great.

Other then tracks three through six the album is boring and overlly poppy. Songs like Haven't Got a Clue and Free Radicals just sound so stupid with Wayne's lyrics and vocal delivery.

By far their weakest album. I cannot convey enough my utter disappointment in it. It's just a simple rehash of their last two albums with none of the killer tracks.

i have mixed oppinions.
nothing on it is bad, at all.
however, i have a problem remembering a lot of the songs. they slip my mind easily, compared to how quickly i memorized most songs from their previous two as well as earlier albums.

also, the production isn't very appealing. the songs sound kinda thin and dry. like in The Soft Bulletin they were thickly layered and lush and booming, but in this one it seems more bare.

At first, I hated it. I was extremely dissapointed. It grew on me, though, and I now I love it. Just needed to give it another listen through or two. I especially love Sound Of Failure. Free Radicals isn't so great, though.

"It Overtakes Me" is probably my favourite song on the album at this point. I just freakin' love it. It's so upbeat and happy.

I thought it was ok, but I've barely listened to it since I first got it a few months ago, and I don't really have any desire to listen to it anytime soon.

I love Free Radicals. I'm the only one though, or so it seems.

Yeah that song grew on me too, but for the moment my favorite song is probably Vein of Stars.

The whole album kinda grew on me.

I personally think Soft was an overhyped piece of crap.
