This is my small jazz combo. There are twelve at my University and at the end of the semester we get 30 minutes each to perform for an audience. The concert lasts 5 hours, but luckily, these files don't. Have a listen and enjoy them.

Sounds good James (that's what I'm calling you from now on because I refuse to refer to you as "moogoo").

Hey, I've got some files from one of my band's CD's, how can I get it onto putfile? They won't take that format.

You can call me James...

but you have to rip the file using some sort of media device... Windows Media or whatnot and then put it up.

Like I said in the other thread, good work. Maybe I'll post when my combo performs in a couple weeks :)

You are the most talented in my opinion.
I dont care for the guitar player. The sax player is good but sometimes he sounds like his creativity needs to catch-up with his technical skill.
I'd like to hear you guys playing for fun instead of at a school concert, I am guessing that might be the reason the solos didn't flow well some of the time.

I appreciate that a lot.

Yeah, the concert did kind of put a kill on some of the solos, but I live for live performance.
But whenever we would just get in a practice room and jam, was when some good stuff would come out. Just getting the head swinging is really great fun too... I love seeing how many different ways I can interpret the rhythms.

Sounds amazing.

I hope my trio will be as tight as you guys someday.

surely will. Just takes a bit of listening... I was pretty much always making eye contact with one of the members of the band during the entire performance...
and that's what it's all about.

That was just amazing.

I only listened to the second one though.

You gotta listen to em all... especially 7 Steps to Heaven... the others are good, but 7 Steps was my end piece and the WOWer

Hey, me too, we have a gig in a couple of weeks, but the drummer isn't going to be there, so it's not going to be as good.
