Hey this isn't spam but a serious post.

I was wondering if you could re-open the LSD thread. I completely understand that it has nothing to do with Politics, News, or really World Issues either. I understand that it's mostly pointless bitching/circular arguments.

However, what's the harm in keeping open one thread of useless arguments, even if it won't get anything done? I mean, it's not like any of these threads have made anybody change their opinions on anything anyways. They're simply for getting opinions out there and trying to get others to at least understand where your opinion is coming from. That's why I've continued to continued to post in that thread. I'm not a big LSD advocate, and frankly it makes me freak out so I never do it. But I would like to get, for example, 1338 haxor or the other naysayers to at least see where my opinion is coming from. I know it's a completely futile notion, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be allowed to speak our piece anyways.

I have sincerely enjoyed thinking of different ways to get my point across to these people that they may understand, and likewise I'm sure they have enjoyed coming up with arguments and supposedly "striking down" our opinions with "logic". There hasn't been a thread in this forum that I've actually cared to take the time to think out my posts for in a long time. So in summary, even though it may seem like pointless bitching to a mod, we are all enjoying ourselves having this discussion, and isn't that what this forum is all about? Passing the time, enjoying yourself, testing your wits?

Furthermore, you know it's inevitable that another stupid drug thread will be made probably within a month or 2 anyways, so all those arguments can just be consolidated into this thread and not spread out across the entire boards. After all, the controversy will always be there, and thus shouldn't we have a place to discuss it? There's still much discussion to be had.

Finally, it's not like all the posts are just "whooaaaa yesterday I tripppped man and I saw colors and unicorns in my back yard" etc. We are having legitimate discussions on the pros and cons of legalizing and using LSD as well as other drugs. So please consider re-opening this thread.

Nobody told you that you can't be creative just because you don't do drugs. You simply misinterpreted what we were saying because you want to think we're all out to get you. Some of your opinions on the topic are well thought out but if you really stop and think about it you can't deny that you're being at least a little close-minded. But that's a discussion for the thread (were it opened).

And I would take it to GD but I'd rather have the topic remain a serious discussion. I don't want people like chad or others who just want to make every thread a dumb joke or just post because it's a thread on the page to post in there unless they have an actual opinion. I don't want it to become a "this is what happened when I did drugs" thread. I don't mind you speaking your mind on the topic; that's what it's there for! But trolling and spamming is childish and unnecessary.
