Elderly drivers are actually a legitimate issue... there ae actually laws about it... and there are actually studies that look driving ability in relation to age (and related issues).

There is a huuuuge difference between saying "we need to be more careful when licensing old people to drive" and "we need to be more careful when licensing black people to drive" seeing as old age does actually lead to slower reaction times, dementia, and a plethora of other issues, while there is nothing inherent with being black that does.

Saying elderly people tend to be less safe drivers is very different from arguing "we need to get the elderly off the roads," because that's stereotyping elderly people as if none of them were good drivers. It's discriminatory.
