Daily Upload - May Edition

April was the best month ever! We had 3571 posts in April's thread, March - 2570 posts, February - 1786. I want to thank everyone that contributed to the thread and especially those that spent the time uploading and doing write-ups. The thread wouldn't exist without all your hard work, you guys rock! :naughty:

If your new to the mailing list concept, here's how it works:
Every day or so an email will be sent out to everyone on the list. In the email will be links to albums that have been uploaded by you, your fellow MXers, and myself. We will all have the benefit of hearing bands we might never have been exposed to. I only send out 10 links per day. This was requested by the mods since mailing lists were getting out of hand. It also helps keep things at a manageable level for me.

If you would like to be on the mailing list, post your email address and then contribute to the discussion as you receive the emails. Posting ONLY your e-mail address without leaving a comment will NOT be tolerated. It's not hard to say "Thank you" or something else along those lines, but do NOT just put down your e-mail address, or you'll be passed over.

Do NOT re-post your address if you are already on the list

This is a forum after all, so please post comments and discuss the music that you have downloaded. If you don't post in the thread regularly, I will remove you from the list. DO NOT come in the thread complaining that you aren't getting the emails anymore if you've been sent links for 150 albums and haven't bothered to post anything!

Yousendit has the best download speeds but the links expire quickly. The other services' links do not expire unless they are inactive for a long time. If you use YSI, please upload more than once. I suggest doing two YSI links and one using another service. If you upload something for the mailing list, please include a description of what you've uploaded as well as the links. Reviews and links to band websites are great to go with an album. Please at least include the genre!

I have moved the Upload History and the Requests to a website. You can actually search for an album or artist to see if it has already been uploaded. Please check back here frequently. I will update it every day or so to try staying on top of the requests. The Requests are also searchable and listed in alphabetical order.

I don't know why everyone says De-Loused is a better album, it was good but had a lot of filler moments imo. Frances The Mute does have those really annoying quiet ambient parts but when the music starts, it kicks some serious ***.

Okay I have a question... I haven't unzipped it yet so I don't know, but why is that PT album from the 1st in three parts? Also, why is the third part only 800 something kB? I figure it must be an upload limit since the other two are both exactly 30 MB, but I was just wondering.

Oh yeah, do you have the A7X vid in a higher quality, at least in the audio? Synyster Gates is one of my favorite guitarists, but he plays the higher octaves in the harmonies generally and with this quality you cant really hear him :( If you do is there any way you could up the higher quality one? I would be forever in your debt. (this isn't a huge deal but if it didn't cut the first and last 10-ish seconds of the song that'd be cool too)
