Hey, let's talk about Sublime! I can't really find a good category to put them in, because they didn't really have too many limits. As it read in the liner notes to "Stand by Your Van", they had "Rastas grooving, so-cal punks moshing, and beach bunnies shimmying... all to the same song!".

Brad - Guitar & Vocals
Eric - Bass
Bud - Drums
Miguel and Field Marshall - Various other stuff

Hey, guys, i have a question. I'm going out tonight, and i'm thinking about getting something by Sublime. I have their title album, Stand By Your Van, and Robbin' the Hood. I'm very fimiliar with just about every song on all of these albums. Have i just about heard everything there is to hear in the world of Sublime, or is there one golden album out there with a lot of great songs i haven't heard yet?

40 oz. to Freedom. it's their best album. Get it if you don't have it and love Sublime.

I have a bunch of songs on my computer, and have heard their albums countless times at parties and such. They have some really good songs, but they also have a ton of really bad ones too.

Definatly one of the greatest bands of all time

Although 40oz is an amazing CD I still like the self titled better

Yeah, isn't The Ballad of Johnny Butt infulentially the least creative song of all time?... Brad must've been totally stoned and drunk when he wrote it.

I dig The Ballad of Johnny Butt. I mean yeah, maybe not very innovating, but it's just meant to be a simple, chilled out reggae song.

Shoot it up! Shoot it up! It just don't matter.

Yeah, i guess i get what you're saying. For example, "Six Shooter" by QOTSA was a brainless song, but i totally digged it.
