hey guys

my church is trying to do this prayer and praise thing..basically it's like mini-church but witch more contemporary music

well so far it's not working out so well.. we usually have between one and three guitars, and that's it..plus nobody shows up..heck I didn't even show up to the last one. So, I'm going to try and recruit a few friends to form more of a band, hoping it will attract a few more people

does anyone have any ideas for some songs we can play?

Any of the Gospel songs Johnny Cash did would be cool.

I was the worship leader at my church a few years back. We played a lot of Third Day and Chris Tomlin as well as other contemporary songs. Try doing a google search on these guys and see what you get. Hope this helps and good luck.

chris tomlin has a whole buch of really good songs you could play like Holy is the Lord, Indescribable, etc.
