metal sh*t

Ok it seems that these germans are not well known in here too bad, they are great..
They play this black/death fusion in a very imaginative way and have som folk influences too.
So far they have realesed 7 albums, of wich i have only heard SIGNS OF THE FALLEN and EMPRISE TO AVALON, wich are awesome..
If anyone have listened any others albums by them, or are into them share your thoughts about this great band thanks :chug:
These guys kick ***. a good mix of melodic death and folk/viking metal. I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Amon Amarth and similar bands. They are a ****ing great band, but I've just heard Emprise To Avalon and Signs Of The Fallen like theT/S and I've listened to the new album Command To Charge and it somewhat dissapointed me because it sounds nothing like them IMO, they sound too In Flames-ish. Nothing against In Flames though I love them :D
If someone has one of the following albums by these guys and can send it to me I would greatly appreciate it...
Lupine Essence
Auld Lang Syne
Lays From Afar
Hep Kat

...I always thought they were Russian =/ But alas, you are right - of German origin, this band is.
Anyways, great band... First time I listened to them I wasnt so impressed, then I gave them a try a year or two later and absolutely loved it.
I thought they were from egypt

I downloaded one of their albums off the daily upload but haven't given it a listen yet. I'll listen to it when I get bored of Moonsorrow.

You should listen to it now. It may make you bored of Moonsorrow. Honestly. Not forever though, so don't worry.

Ha their name is actually their singers last name backwards: Suidakra - Arkadius. Anyway this band is excellent, I really enjoy their sound.

Who was pleased with Caledonia? For the most part it was great, but The Distant Call was not something I would hope to hear.

The IXth Legion was awsome.
Though I haven't got any of their other stuff of caledonia cos it hasn't been on limewire when I've gone on and it's nowhere to be seen in Australian stores

Um, the daily upload?

Torrents?
Those are my three main sources, I dont even use torrents much

Fair enough.
It wouldn't be so bad if myspace wasn't f***ed up.
Whenever I try downloading music off that it comes up with an error.
At least I have constant access to the music though

I will. I probably wont listen to it for a few days because Im a little behind on my album listening. It appears I have a personal queue of albums to listen to between the DU, friends sending me things and me buying new cds.

Haha, when I download a bunch of albums, I all put them in a folder labelled "To Extract", and when it gets too full I'll start listening to albums. I think it has at least 15 in there right now

I do the exact same thing. If you think that is bad, I have 43 albums to get to. Last week was 120. I had more than the DU queue.

You'll need a program called Win rar (might be winrar) to extract it. You can get it at download.com.
Its similar to a .zip.

Ah that's right.
Stupid laptop and lack of programs: I don't even have Word :p
Suidakra is awesome.
Emprise To Avalon is brilliant, and Signs For The Fallen is pretty cool also.
And 9 month old threadbump ftl

Like all their other stuff that I've heard; the more folk influence it has, the more I like it.
The IXth Legion is clearly the standard track though
They are pretty good. But I have only heard Lupine Essence, which wasn't all that good imo, & Emprise To Avalon which was way better.
Suidakra is awesome.

Exactly how I feel.
And I didn't even realize it was an uber-bump.
