Yo, i saw a spector legend 5 in a shop near me yesterday and it was priced at 500 quid, but yet these are like 600 brand new i think, do you reckon its worth the money and is it a good bass for a third serious bass

Nope, if you want a serious Spector save up £1000 and get a Euro thru-neck.

Theres a Euro neck thru at sound control in london for about 600 quid and its pretty damn worth it (might have been a sale price or something)

I've only played cheaper Spectors, and I really don't like the tone.
The neck is real nice, though.

£500 ? Thats over the top.
A year ago you could get the 6 string for £450. They are a good bass for the money - but whether it's right for you I couldn't say.
What other basses do you have ?

If you enjoyed it, get it. Spectors are awesome, but you might want to save up for a Euro.

Yep, a Euro is a lasting investment. A Legend...is not.
