i think you can get little ones, you cant get smokie bass amps though cause the speaker is too small.

i wish i had a smokie for my guitar.

if you cant find one camping shops sell adapter that are desinged for running stuff wen in a caravan, tis a socket doofer that plaugs up to a car battery an can power your amp, then you could just use your norm practice amp, if you have one

Haha, no. You buy a car battery specifically for the amp. That's what my school's marching band does for the bass amp.

About $600 USD, right? Not that bad for convenience that you could use daily.

ive been interested in something like this as well... like a little belt amp, clips to your belt.....

What about those... like... stethoscope's for bass? made by dragonfly or something... someone got one on here a while back from Namm or something... before they really went on market? i cant remember real well.... i heard it was pretty neat actually.

go with the car battery idea if you dont have a lot of cash /on thread

so i was at the local guitar shop the other day and for $100 saw a "micro stack" for guitar assumedly, cute. it was about 6 inches tall

Car batteries cost about £30-50 depending on the size, i recommend an acoustic bass or a pignose amp if you want to take your bass on walkies.
