Oh how I wish to surrender myself to the sea
I want to touch the bottom of the deepest ocean
And there I shall remain until the world is dead
I want to swim at night, until I see no light
In its raging silence, my body will lay still
There I will sleep forevermore
The silent world beneath the sea
Is where I wish to live
Shut my tired eyes
And breathe the icy water
I wish to jump into the ocean’s giant jaws
And let it carry me away
To drag me under, to a better place
The sea’s gentle sway the only moves I make
My water filled lungs will hold me down
