Ok, right now i have a cheapo 10 watt ibanez amp:p , and fender mim pbass. (I bought the bass first lol).
So now I need to know what amp to buy, whats a decent amp within the price range of 100-350. I want somthing that would work good for punk music and can make enough noise for a high school gig.
Any help would be much apprecieated :thumb:

I have heard good and bad things about this amp, maybe some of the guys here know about it http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Bass/Amps?sku=481092
The fender rumble series is pretty decent for the price too.

I've always been a fan or Hartke's myself. A nice fullstack at a local shop. I was planning on that before I found the 6x10 I've got now.
It's pretty sweet. No idea if you could find it... But if you do, I personally say they're pretty sweet.

Laney R4 Combo, I own one and it's incredibly good for the price. I think it cost like US$ 450 though, but it's 300 w and has a 15" speaker. It also has a 7 band graphic EQ.

I would go for the Laney R5, its 300w and instead of a 15" speaker, it has 2 12" speakers. I have it and would definitely recommend it

I tried out the R5 and it's a beast as well. Anyhow, I prefered the R4 because it gave me better low-end and it also had the 7 band graphic eq. In top of that it was like US$50 cheaper!!:chug:

Guys, don't be too mean to Chris, we don't want him crying too hard to his internet girlfriend.

Yes it would be loud enough, but Behringer are ****. The tone is sterile, and hissy at loud volumes. I sold my BX1200 to buy an Ashdown MAG C210t-300, which is awesome. Very loud, quite cheap, very reliable. Got a MAG 1x15" too for extra low end and a bit more volume
