If you listen to Atreyu, Norma Jean, or Bullet For My Valentine I think you'll find the music is so infiltrated with modern pop (to make all those people who know what real emo is happy) that it has lost most of what makes it Metal.

Shadows Fall is one of the few who take that NWOAHM sound and don't delute it with pop.

Technically they aren't Metalcore becuase what the general population thinks is Hardcore actually isn't. Music is an oligarchy, majority doesn't rule.

I was actually on his side if you didn't realize. I am also one of those people who will call all those bands Metalcore outside of this forum. In this forum Metalcore is bands like Converge, it's a lot different.

He made some strong points if you even bothered to read his post. Its just that I wasnt aware that the bands he listed were actually called NWOAHM.
Also, You'll find alot of Purists around these forums so I suggest that you dont go around talking smack to the big time members.
