This is a fun lil' thread that I thought I would try again. Obviously there is no correlation between first names and musical ability, but this is just a thread on the Internet! There's no need to go crazy overanalyzing it, just have fun :)

Steven Morrissey (Smiths) - Vocals
Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction) - Drums

Number one, read title.
Number two, it would blow. Kurt Cobain would **** everything up. Thank god he is dead. Cobain vocals don't have any "pain" unless its him shredding his vocal chords apart with his horrible shrieking.

I hate it when old threads are bumped because people almost always forget to read them and know what they're about.
PS that group would suck no matter what the topic of the thread.
ANYWAY... here's one I thought of recently, so I guess the thread's bumping wasn't so bad after all:
Drums: Bill Ward (Black Sabbath)
Bass: Tim Ward (The Fall Of Troy)
Guitar/Vocals: Jim Ward (ATDI/Sparta)
Guitar/Vocals: M. Ward (solo?)

Yeah because adding Dave Grohl would change the whole 'sucking' thing. Pathetic.
Frank Zappa - Whatever Zappa thinks needs to be done
Frank Beard(ZZ Top) - Drums
various studio musicians named Frank
Oh, and Frank Frost could be the harp for added beauty. :p

Meh this thread has been around for awhile but I've never done one so here it goes.
Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, other assorted instruments- Stephen Stills
Lead Vocals, Organ, Guitar, other instruments- Steve Winwood
Bass- Steve Harris
Drums- Steve Gadd
That would be one ****ing awesome band. Stills and Winwood are both in my top 5 musicians ever and are both amazing multi-instrumentalists. Stills is one of my favorite guitar players, delivering searing electric solos and amazing acoustic solos. And he's a great singer. Winwood is an even better singer and is amazing on keyboards. Plus, he's an excellent guitar player and he and Stills could have long jams trading off brilliant solos. I really love Harris' basswork although admittedly I don't listen to Iron Maiden as much as the other bands included. He was the first steve bassist who popped into my head so I'm using him. And then Gadd keeps everything together with his amazing steady drumming.

what does John Paul Jones have anything to do with Lamb of God.I'm assuming it's him, because of the other members in your band. The Lamb of God bassist is named John Campbell, anyways.
