Just took the first step into ordering the practice kit I wanna buy. Original e-mail:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Sound Attak,
My name is Jezen Thomas and I am a scholarship student at the Sage, Gateshead (Newcastle). As I was awarded a scholarship grant of £3125, and the course costs £3000; the remaining funds are returned to me. I have £125 and I have my heart set on a DW 'Go Anywhere' Practice Kit.
I do not recieve the funds directly in cash however. The purchase process is slightly complicated, so I asked the Co-ordinator of the weekend school at the Sage, Alex Marsden, to put the process into writing. I have attached a scanned image of the letter with this e-mail.
Basically to get the ball rolling, I need you to send me a quote or pro-forma invoice, so I can give that to Alex Marsden who will give me a cheque, which I will then send to you before you send me the practice kit (assuming you have one in stock).
Please send the quote/invoice to the following address:

----------
------ ------, --- ---
Also could you tell me how much the shipping would be? I may aswell spend the remainder of my funding in your store, so I need to know how much money I will have left.
*IMPORTANT*
You must also tell me who to make the cheque out to.
Thankyou for reading my (somewhat lengthy) e-mail, and I eagerly await your reply.
- Jezen Thomas

I can't wait until I actually get it... Here's what it looks like (minus the pedal):

I saw that a couple days ago. It looks hilarious, but probably plays nicely.

I think it's by far the best practice kit on the market.

lol, the pads are like left tom/hi hat, snare, right tom/ride, and floor tom/crash. What a weird set up they designed...it seems very cool, though.

It's all fully adjustable. That's why it's the best design on the market...

Gee, best shoot me now before I make another punctuation-related mistake.

Apparently the pads on the TL kit wear away really easily.

Those things are great, my uncle made a massive E-kit using 4 of those put together
I've been asking a lot of nooby questions lately, but how could you make an e kit out of that?
Edit: Like to give credit to your sqeezes excersice, I just went through the whole think and my muscles are feeling good.

I want to know that as well.

^^ Damn right it does.
That looks really neat, I'd never have thought of using just the one stand for the whole thing.

Exactly. No bulky frame or rack or anything. Definately the most compact and mobile design I have come across.
Furthermore, I have already recieved the invoice! I just need to bring it to the Sage on Sunday, and pick up the cheque, and send it back to Sound Attack.

dang.
I use a regular pad on my knee, a kickpad and a double pedal. It's the same on one surface as 18 to me.

He's talking about per year. American Universities definitely don't cost 30,000 a year unless you're going to Harvard or something.
a lot of american universities do indeed cost that much and more lately...

Thats a really REALLY sweet practice kit BB, I myself am going to univerisity this year in London so brining my kit with me is a no-no *this is the point where I break down and cry* So I myself am looking at a practice kit like this. My life would suck if I gave up drumming and DW = Quality. A practice kit like this would make life at uni great.
P.S. for those who don't know (BB included) the fee's for uni are £3000 a year but you don't have to pay it back till you start earning over 15k a year or somthing. (better start making money off your drumming boys and girls.)
