You should find them anywhere that stocks/sells drumsticks. Take a look at Vic Firth/Vater/Pro-Mark/Regal Tip/etc.'s webpages to get some ideas on a pair! I have some Vic Firth Signature Thomas Lang sticks that I'll be using for rudiments. L = 16 1/8", Dia. = .650". Haven't used them much yet since I haven't even had them 4 days but they seem like a good pair of sticks!

Why are you ment to use fat sticks for rudimental practice. To me it sounds like riding a bicycle to try get better at riding a moterbike.

bad analogy. A much better anology would be riding up a hill in 18th gear to make it easier when you're in 5th on a bicycle.

or, this analogy that i like more:
it's like lifting 100 pound weights routinely so that you can lift 20 pounds with ease.
and on the subject, i can't find marching sticks anywhere here. i've been practicing with 2b's, since that's the biggest i can get. i haven't been to the big music store here in a while, however, since it's a very far drive, but i'm sure they'll have some. next time i'm there i'll pick up a few pairs.

Ahh, so they are ment to build up your muscles in your fingers.
I was going to suggest buying off vicfirth then I saw it only sold to America.

Well i looked round 2 of my local music shops, theres one left.
If not i'll settle for some 2B's or get some 1A's or 1B's off ebay.

I think marching sticks might help a little, espically to devlope better fulcurm technique.
