I run a website business with about 10-12 websites, and MOST of them are somehow related to something i'm interested (golf, being jewish, etc :p ), and i was thinking about getting some kind of drum related website going with another buddy of mine.
However, the seems to be sites for almost everything drum related...vids of other drummers (drummerworld), buying and selling drums (ebay & craigslist), finding other musicians, rudiments (vicfirth.com), lessons sites exist, etc.
Still, there might be something you guys are aware of that might be a good idea....

If you want to devote a website to just cymbals, and have a directory of cymbals and where to find them, that would help drummers out A LOT!

Alright, the cymbal idea isn't bad. Here's the question...what kind of content could be on there that woulnd't "age" as we say. That is, i wouldn't want to have a list of PRICES of cymbals, because that is the type of thing that has to constantly be updated, and when you have many websites, you dont' want to deal with that.
however, information on the proper way to play cymbals, the definitions of "dry" "dark" etc, histories of the cymbal manufacturers, all that, is a pretty good idea. The question is what other kind of info could be there.

there is that cymbals-only site http://www.cymbalholic.com, which seems to be down at the moment. when it's up that's a great place for information about cymbals.
