Jazz recommendations

First off, i know how much some people hate these threads so please don't slate me for it.

Anyways, to the point...

Recently I've been getting into some jazz type music. As a complete an utter newborn to this type of music I'm looking for a little help. Anybody have any reccomendations as to what would be good jazz music to get me into the genre?
