Another Recording Complete---Criticism Wanted.

Hi guys, I've been browsing the forums for quite some time now, and just recently started posting a little bit. Well I have a song I would love to be criticised. I want to know what I can improve on, and what needs work. This song is all recording by myself, guitar, vocals (i know they are not perfect), drums are synth from fruity loops. Please let me know what you think, I know the timing on the lead is a little off, it still needs to be fixed. But aside from that please comment honestly :)

Way too much reverb or distortion or something on the drums, they are a little bit simple as well... those need some work. it makes it sound a little bit muckky... otherwise that's really cool! That riff part around 1:40 is a little funky as well. Could all be a little bit tighter but it's pretty cool

All of the guitar parts are excellent, only thing that stands out to me is the repetitive drums, i'm just not feelin em haha. I know it can be hard to program them but good luck. There's other ways to widen the sound without reverb I think

yeah theres too much effects usage in there, but it sounds very clean in terms of recording quality (kudos, recordings a bitch). vocals are the weak point of the song, and i dont like the monotone voice that repeats everything, it just strikes me as off-putting for some reason. guitar work is pretty good though.

Thank you very much for your criticism! It is well appreciated, I know of most of my friends who hate to say what is wrong with my songs because they thing it will hurt my feelings, but I am just looking to improve my music. I really do appreciate all of your comments. I have been recording for awhile now so I have the recording bits down, now it is just getting the right sounds out of the songs. I still have mixed emotions on all of the recordings I have completed so far, but County Down seems to be my favorite so far, I might make a few changes after hearing from you guys. Please, if anyone else has to comment go right ahead I'd love to hear from you!
