Lets review old school games the more obscure and worse the better.
Cliffhanger (SNES)

It was more or less a Double Dragon ripoff with really bad cutscenes in between. I sat through the whole thing which was a test of patience.
Stallones main moves are punch and kick, and you can roundhouse but it takes your health away a bit as a sacrifice. Fist fighting proves difficult especially as Stallone is really slow, and when you get enemies on you in groups of three its quite tricky. Weapons wise you can wield a knife and a gun, and once you have these its much easier to start carving up. Its still not much fun though.
Some sections change from traditional fist fighting to climbing exercises, where Stallone can slowly scale a wall as you avoid guys shooting at you whilst precariously perched on jutting out ledges of ice. Another section has you running away from an avalanche whilst dodging rocks and logs.
Graphics wise its a big meh, not much to say theres much better looking SNES games. The music is fairly ****e, the cutscene music is horrendous, the in-game music slightly better intense bleep bleep 'industrial' for lack of a better way to describe it. Controls are terrible, can't really control Stallone.
3/10
