My one off gig, filling in for a bassist, has given my trio a weekly gig.
even better... that weekly gig turned into a couple big gigs...
Ive told a couple of you this already... we've gotten pretty tight with this one classic/alt rock band, called 6minutes in they are pretty known around here...
they told us they want us to go on tour with them... now i dont know if its official or not, but asking us makes mee feel great even if its only PA,OH,VA and a little bit of NY
and then July 20th, we got our Own GIG at the ****in Hard Rock.. around here, bands kill to get a chance to play there, the guy who owns it is a dick, and usually books well known acts, so the fact that we've been asked means a great deal to us considering we havent been a full band for well.... not long...The 'X' hosts these local nights, and they record them, and play them on the radio. We've got about an hour to play... im supremely geeked.
My guitarist called me today fired up, skys the limit bitches.

congrats Naveed. Hopefully it all works out for you. Just remember that once you get even the smallest break, work your *** off, hustle, whatever... just make the absolute most of it.

Good boy! :thumb:
Play like you've never played before and most of all: thank the Hard Rock Café (?) guy! Jus thank him and he will remember you as a nice person/band, so maybe he books you again in the future. And he is most likely going to tell his friends/other venue owners.
We might tour through Belgium (country south of the Netherlands) this summer with my band.. There are some plans from a band which we are friends with and they need another band.

Hey, if you come through NY, let me know... I'd be the part of NY you'd go through. I'm just outside of NJ and PA in the tri-state area.
