I traded my Lightwave and picked this up. it an MTD Grendel.

I think that is is ugly. But if it plays nice and you like it, thats all that matters.

If that had 5 strings, it would be perfect.

The body shape doesn't fit a 4 stringer.

nice... the 2 MTD's i played i didint like... but they were both used and i think had some sort of defect, tone was horribly muddy..... *shiver*

Its nice, but as someone said the body would work better as a 5er.

I had the same experience. But the 2 I played were ugly as hell also. That one's not half-bad though.

I don't like the non matching headstock, but otherwise looks like a very nice bass. Have fun with it :thumb:

I don't. The bass would look a lot better with 5+ strings and a different headstock.

But other than that it's pretty nice. I like the finish.

I'm not sure the headstock is actually blue, I think it's the lighting.

People always confuse black with a reflection as blue. I don't know why... I still see black myself.
