the title says it all, im trying to sell my Brice, why you ask, well 6 string isnt my thing, im most comfertable on my warwick 5er, plus i need cash for my car. under the right circumstances i would accept a trade for a used Fender J or P, or make me an offer, we can work something out. I want to sell the bass for around 200 dollers+shipping(you pay). i will consider shipping outside the US, but im not sure.

-6 String Fretless
-35 inch scale
-Stock electronics
-Defretted by me, not the best but not horrible.
-Kept in good condition
-The part where the neck and body meet is sanded to a dark wood finish, for my project i was going to do, but never got around to.
-Fender Gig bag, bass fits perfectly.
-Truss Rod Cover Taken off for easier access to Truss Rods
-Dual Truss Rods
This bass has alot of potential, its a good setup away from being a great bass. Put some new electronics in it and this bass would be amazing.
AND...

Aphex Bass Exciter Pedal

-Great Condition
-Perfect Working Order
-Lo Tune, Lo Blend, Hi Tune, Hi Blend controls
-Active/Passive control
-Wet/Dry control
-Lifted/Grounded Control
-XLR D.I. output
-Bright LED for dark stages/gigs
I dont use this pedal anymore because my amp is bassy enough and its Effects Loop really sucks. I want $80 Dollers+shipping, but talk to me and we can work something out, no trades on this piece, ill ship it with a power supply.

heres a review for it

Dec 8, 2004 - The Bass Xciter does exactly what Aphex says it does. It's very easy to use and dial in the sweet spots for you bass & amp combo. The Big Bottom is just that BIG, but not boomy or muddy in any way. Adds a nice punch and quite a bit of meat to your total sound. I've also used it as a direct box for recording and it performed flawlessly. I'll never play without it again.

my email is significants0mething@yahoo.com, but i dont check it regularly, talk to me on MX in the casual or in here if im on, and my AIM is "worrpigs".
make me an offer.

i dont have any pics of it right now, the body is in good shape except for a little bit of paint wear on the top where your arm rests, and a bit on the upper horn, i dont know from what though. and while sanding the neck down, i hit wood literally above the 24th fret, but its not big, and doesnt affect the playing, theres no dings in the body, and its in perfect working order. that little peg off of the neck next to the pickups, i dont know how to describe it, the little angled thing off the neck, is sanded down, but i can paint that if youd like. the finish is black quilted, and it really cool looking. i could try and get some pics of it later on if my sister comes home with her camera, but as of now i dont have any.

actually i just noticed some dings in the back, not bad, but theres a little bit of belt wear, like 4 little scratces, the largest length being the width of my pinky, and a couple of dings my the control plate in the back, from me trying to open the thing. they arent anything to be worried about though.

if you get bubbles in the epoxy after your done, blow on them while the epoxy is still wet, it makes for a real nice shiny finish, and put as little as you can on it, paint it on the fretboard with a paintbrush. the thinner it is, the less sanding and work you need to do in the end. and try not to get a bunch near the nut, that was the hardest for me, i had to sit there with a razor blade cutting epoxy off the nut.
EDIT: and if you do end up sanding it which you most likely will, acetone cleans the epoxy real nice.

in the Brice? If so its a HXB-406, but its an older model, with perloid dot inlays, i made sure they show through the epoxy, so you kinda have a fretmarker, and the lines dont show. its not the best fretless, but IMO its a good bass. Its got all black hardwear, and a push/pull pot on the volume. other than that its got a balance control, and treble and bass controls. in passive mode, you have a lot more gain and you can kind of overdrive your amp to get a nice smooth crunch. active mode is really smooth sounding. its a good bass and i like how it sounds, but it just doesnt see as much playing time as i thought it would.
