Seriously, the most insanely ****ed up and emented movie I have ever laid eyes on. I couldn't even believe what I was watching most of the time.
Directed by David Lynch (who is a cool director anyways) and starring John Nance. Came out in 1977 and is entirely in black and white.
Seriously. Demented.
I've read some things about the symbolism but if you have any ideas, let me know.

i hear this film is just off the chain. always see it in lists of shocking films, but am yet to see it. David Lynch is genius.
it's one of my favorites. every time I watch it I get such an eerie, uneasy feeling, and it's that whole mood surrounding it that really makes it a classic. I don't think there's supposed to be a real meaning to it, despite the countless interpretations. in fact i remember reading some interview with Lynch and he said the movie doesn't have any set meaning, but the viewers are supposed to interpret it for themselves, which is pretty tough considering all the maniacal things that happen in it.

Yeah, Eraserhead is a great movie, as long as I'm in the right mood. Pretty damn creepy, although I wouldn't necessarily say one of the most ****ed up movies of all time. Lynch is one of my favorite directors.
