Yes - so me and my band are looking for a P.A system that would be suitable for us to use in practices - this would only be used for vocals and on the odd occasion an acoustic guitar.

Do you think this is the right thing?

It seems like a little PA good enough for acoustic practices. I wouldn't get it if your practices were high volume though. Using a live drummer? If so, shy away from this unit.

That amp only powers a max of 80 watts per channel, you should really look into cabs that handle at least 100 to 150 watts a piece and an amp that can push about 150-300 watts per channel!
