Splinter Cell: Double Agent

I've never been too much of a fan of the stealth game, barely getting into Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3. But this game, it just looks bloody fantastic and in a league of it's own! The plotline in particular is what attracted me, since it's rare to play undercover throughout an entire game. I've been checking up more and more on this now, and it's probably my most wanted for the 360 this year.

So yeah, in this thread, discuss Double Agent (Or any of the Splinter Cell series if you want).

Oh, do you think it would be a good idea to play the other 3 before this?

I love ALL SC games, and beat the first and third games, I love the gameplay and think they are my favorite single player games of all time. I'm not too keen on the online play maybe because I can only play it at friends houses since I'm not wired, and suck at it. I didn't see the new SC trailors out but I guess i'll go look on ign then report back!

EDIT: forgot to give massive props to the amazing lighting in the game!

I beat the first 3. The...2nd or 3rd one was REALLY easy. I beat within a day or two, while the first, took me muuuch longer.

2nd wasn't so easy for me and i got bored with it, but the first and third really kept me intrigued

never have i stayed up so late into the morning hours to play a game
