Hey, im a guitarist in a band and our singer left and me and the drummer have to fill in.


i have no ****ing idea how to scream in vocals and would like some help in learning how.


I can kinda do it in a whisper tone but when i do it louder it sounds wrong.

Sounds wrong? Record it and listen to it. It sounds a little bit different when you hear it in your head, as opposed to hearing it from a sound system.

I swear these 2 things help a lot for vocals.

As for advice from me, Practice. If it feels like your irritating your chords stop because you're probably doing it wrong. There is a difference between throat and vocal chords just so you know. Also, stay hydrayed, drink lots of water because when you scream, Mucus builds up on your chords which is bad, so ot prevent mucus build up, you'll need to drink water to make sure your chords stay moist enough without needing to use so much mucus. Remember, most fluids take 20 mnutes to digest. Basiclly look at the links up there cause I basiclly learned most of the stuff i know from those links
