Sorry, it's time for second genius thread idea: we build a bass solo, one note at a time. Type it out in tab, so you can tell where bouts (octave-wise) each note is, and we'll have some cool solo. No need to stay in a specific key, and when we finish, we can all record, and see who's version is the best.

hmm i just whipped my bass out and the intro is a tad bit sketchy... Guys.. remember as your adding parts to the songs have your bass with you instead of putting in random numbers and styles like "Ooo i have no clue what it sounds like but im sure it'll sound cool if this part will have some tapping and harmonics..."

Looking at what's written, I'd say there are alot of people who shouldn't be writing solos. There are probably even more that should just give up music all together.

And plus, alot of people did not adhere to the "one note" rule and were writing in elaborate chords that did nothing.
