I'm having a problem in Cubase SX 3.

Whenever I record MIDI in Cubase the recording is not exactly what I recorded. The recording seems to 'slip' 2 beats. To be a bit more specific, lets say I record 8 quarter notes ascending on the C major scale. It would go C D E F G A B C. However, when I play it back it sounds like C and D being played at the same time (right away) and then the E F G A B C as normal. Any tips? Any places other than this to seek help? Thanks a bunch.

That sounds like an unusual problem..you haven't got any quantize options turned on for while you record do you? I think on the transport bar there should be an 'AUTO Q' button in the bottom left, if its the same as Nuendo, which you probably don't want on.

Blah, I just figured it out. It was one goddam clickbox. "Use Windows Timestamp". There you go, if any of you have problems relating to MIDI not recording properly and just falling into a crash on playback, thats what the problem is.
