Fish Out Of Water.

I'm kind of a fish out of water since I'm from the Guitar Forum.
But I'm sick of the plain old sounding samples I have in my drum program.

I have a question to ask of one of you nice drummers.

Would one of you record two good quality hits on each of your drums and send me them in .wav files?
One hit hard, one hit light on each drum.

This would make my drums on my recordings sound way better than the crappy samples I have.

But, they have to be decent quality.
In other words, it has to be clear sounding so they don't sound muddy when I use them for beats.

The track I downloaded earlier sounded okay with the drum machine. I wasn't too sure about the ride cymbal. I can't really record because i use muffle pads at home so the cymbals wouldn't be any good and the drums won't sound real.

fruity loops actually has some nice drum sounds on it. just takes some time to find out which ones to use. sometimes it's better to use 2 different bass drums to get a combined sound, etc.

i'd suggest playing around with fruity loops and seeing if those drum sounds would work for you.

Are you kidding? I don't actually have Fruity Loops but I've heard alot of audio done off of it and the drums on there sound like absolute crap. You want some semi-decent MIDI drum sounds check out Ableton Live and that new Reason Drums program...both very good.

To whoever offered to do this for me, yes to the hi-hat clicks. No cow bell needed, though. Also, if you want you could throw in a sizzle crash and sizzle ride or something.
