My guitarist friend and I have had these songs floating around for months now and I'd really like to hear other musicians' opinion on them.

The first we call "The Nocturne" and is a gothic-themed rocker. No vocals (or lyrics) yet unfortunitely. I wrote the majority of it (except the riff in the second half of the song and the second solo) and play bass/keyboard on it. My friend played guitar and since we have no drummer, the drum track is digital.

This one is a cover of Rush's Tom Sawyer that we did a long time ago. I'm not quite happy with some parts of it, especially the synth...sounds a little misplaced. Still, I think we did a fairly decent job with it.

Next up is a song called Midnight Sky. This is a very ambient-sounding piece, which picks up near the end with some solos.

Last is Aquamarine, a watery-themed song which is probably more complex than anything we've recorded so far.

Those are the only ones we've actually made real recordings for so far.
Comments/critiques welcome. :)
