hey guys, first off I'm back from what? 6 months of inactivity or so...alright, now my problem is that my double kick used to be much faster than it has become, and i'm used to the good day and bad day deals like that, but this has been for quite a while. I just wanted to know if you guys had some suggestions/exercises that could help me out a bit.

P.S.: search gives me an error every time I try, and I don't need the you shouldn't rely on double kick lecture.

I have that with other stuff sometimes, where I can do something pretty well, and then all of a sudden for like 3 weeks I just have a huge problem playing that. But then if you work at it a lot I learn it better than before...

So I guess my advice is to just practice more, idk, that probably doesn't really help at all, sorry...

It could be your pedals, try tightening everything, maybe replacing springs, etc.

It's definitely not equiptment! After 6 months, it's a given its not going to feel good.like doom said, rudiments, metrenome, practice. Slowly, steadily build your speed, endurance, independence back up.
