im going to be gettn a 4mic input mixer.... so i need suggestions on 4 cheap but good drum mics... i was thinking 2 condensors and a bass drum mic and using my sm-57 for snare any ideas?

Thats actually not a bad idea, but you might want to save for an 8 channel and use more mics. One per drum perferbly and two pencil condensers for cymbals.

That's probably the best idea for a 4 mic setup, obviously the more the better if possible so you could close mic toms etc. but if you're limited to 4 do that.
What do you mean by cheap? It's gonna be a decent amount to get good quality stuff, and buying drum mics I wouldn't go for really cheap stuff as it's so important to get a good drum sound.
AKG D112s are great kick mics and used a lot in the industry but quite pricey, maybe have a look at a Shure PG52 if you want something cheaper but still good quality.
As far as overheads go I like AKG C1000s, they're very nice mics for the price and can be used for a lot of other applications too, other than that I'd say just get the best quality pair of pencil condensers you can afford, SE Electronics do quite a decent priced one that I think you can buy as a matched pair.
