Hey guys, i made a video of me playing some grooves. Most of it was made up while i was playing. I have only been playing for about 8 months, so don't laugh. Well here it is...

Nice, pretty good for 8 months, and i like your bass drum sound. Do you have a double bass pedal, because i'm impressed for that speed on a single with the time you've been playing. What kit have you got?
I probably wasn't that good at 8 months, but then again, i didn't really know any rudiments to practise, and i'd worked through all the exercises in my beginners book, and i didn't have a kit.
Your good, keep at it

All your drums sound nice. Your snare is really nice, though. Everything is pretty good, keep with it. Just two things: fix your snare roll at the beginning and fix your shirt.

If that adultswim is reading, take a hint...
The video took a while to work for me, i have trouble with the WMP on putfile. I prefer youtube or google images, or the best is downloading it...

Was pretty good.
Your snare hand looked really comfortable and smooth on the ghost notes. Nice bass drum work too.

For 8 months thats very good. You already have a good feel and balance around the kit and pretty good time. Start to work on getting your left hand indepence so you don't only do 2 and 4 all the time. It will open up you world of groove a whole lot more. Listen to Spiders - System of a down and imitate the groove in the verse then start playing around with the bass drum and hihat patterns.
Keep it up!

Solid playing.
What was that thing hold your sticks next to your hi-hat? I need one of those. :p

three things that I would do are; not lifting up the stick so high to hit the hi hat (wasted energy, wasted time), switching between the edge and the top of the hi hat instead of sticking to one (variation), and last and actually probably least, put a feathered bass hit or something as a filler when you are on the way back to the groove after one of your MONSTER fills
and get a haircut

I liked it too. The timing was pretty solid and I liked the bass drum usage. You do need a haircut though. You look emo with your hair long like that.
Just wondering, what cymbals are you using?

Yo man nice, nice playing, and like everyone else has said: get yourself a haircut, how can you see what your playing?
One thing i noticed was that you brought your sticks up a fair way on your highhat, snare and on the flam-type fill thing you were doing. Get your power and sound from your wrists not your elbows.
But apart from that, nice **** man, your bass drum is pretty tight, so yeah.
Keep going.
